Mineral vs. Chemical Sunscreen π§ͺ
Mineral sunscreens (like ours) use natural minerals such as zinc oxide to create a physical barrier that reflects UV rays before they reach your skin. They start working immediately after application and are less likely to cause irritation, making them a great choice for sensitive skin.
Chemical sunscreens, on the other hand, use synthetic UV filters that absorb UV radiation and convert it into heat, which is then released from the skin. While effective, they often require 15β20 minutes to activate and can cause irritation in some people.
We choose mineral protection because itβs safer for sensitive skin, gentle on the environment, and effective from the moment you apply it.
